Dunolly House
Dunolly House is a large Victorian mansion with a cottage bunkhouse along side. Both buildings sit within their own grounds at the west end of Aberfeldy. The magnificent River Tay runs along side the arounds of Dunolly forming a beautiful backdrop to the accommodation.
We are situated close enough to the village to be handy for the amenities but not to close so that we still have a real feel of the countryside around us (click for location details).

Thirteen rooms in the main house can sleep a total of 48 and if you combine with the cottage then we can sleep 65 in total. The rooms range from singles to doubles to family to bunk rooms sleeping from 3 to 10. Four of the rooms are en-suite with the rest having large or small communal washing areas. The rooms are spacious, warm and comfortable many with views across the river and beautiful Tay valley towards the surrounding hills and mountains. Leaders/teachers accompanying groups are offered rooms with single beds, and exclusive use of a spacious and very comfortable lounge. Both buildings are well decorated, carpeted and centrally heated. There is a large drying room and a large dining room with 60 seats.

Dunolly Cottage
Dunolly Cottage is a smaller accommodation block within the same one acre grounds as Dunolly House. It can be booked separately from the main building but catering will be provided in the main house.

This stone-built two storey cottage has 2 separate shower areas and 3 accommodation rooms for male, female and leaders. All rooms are fully carpeted and centrally heated. The interior is pine clad. The building backs onto the river and is approximately 20 metres from the main house.

Recreational Facilities
The games room offers space for meetings or group get-togethers. A comfortable lounge is also available for groups to use with TV and video facilities.

The grounds are available for barbecues and games. There is plenty of scope for relaxation on the tiered grassy slopes leading down to the adjoining picnic area to the west of the property. Close by is the Aberfeldy Recreation Centre opened in 1985 providing a heated swimming pool, sauna, squash courts and many indoor games.

Our centre is open all year and most activities are also available all year. Some activities such as rafting and duckying change quite considerably in the winter and become almost a different activity but whatever you are doing you can be rest assured that you will come back to a dry, warm and welcoming centre at the end of the day which has all the facilities that your group will require along with a friendly and informal service. Our web site has more info on residential activities for adults and for schools and youth groups. We also run Summer Camp Weeks for 8 to 13 year olds.

Catered Groups
Times for meals are organised with the group in advance as are the choice of courses and we are very open to catering for unusual food requirements.

Catered groups can have the option of tea and coffee available all day at an extra cost. Please note that for children's groups a tuck shop can be opened to suit the timings of the group. If groups require a supper, mid morning coffee or afternoon snack service then this can also be arranged with prior notice.
