Staff Recruitment

Dunolly Adventure Outdoors is set in the middle of river and mountain country.
As staff we work and play in these environments so if you want this, Dunolly is the place to be.

Each season as with most companies we will recruit a number of seasonal staff to add to our full time complement. We look to interview in January of each year with an approximate start date of around February/March.
We are looking for staff who want to build on experience already gained and for the right people this can be productive time.

We put high emphasis on good training of staff before the season starts. This can simply be aimed at the Dunolly method or it can be training specifically towards a governing body qualification that we need any particular member of staff to have.

The first 6 weeks or so is spent training so that at the end of this period we have a well oiled team of people. It should be added that Dunolly is not a large centre. We will work with a team of 6 - 8 activity staff which allows the training to be personalised to each member of staff.

During the season we will work with school groups on residentials as well as non-residential day youth groups. Over weekends we will work often with adult groups who want some sort of adrenaline package. We tend to concentrate on residential school groups during the weeks at the start and at the end of the season with other types of group in the middle section.

If we decide to take staff on we will be looking
to qualify them in the following activities:

Archery   White Water Rafting and Duckying   Off road biking

We may also pay for other qualifications that a person is ready for such as kayaking and climbing qualifications.

People who are applying with Archery, biking and river qualifications will be looked on favourably as will people with generally high river skills.

Trainee Post
Each year we look for a young person who we consider will benefit greatly from our personalised training system. This person will have the opportunity to stay with us over a minimum of a year and a half. We would look for a person who has a high interest in river sports and who has already developed him or herself technically along those lines. If you think you fit the bill please call us.

Seasonal Working Conditions
Seasonally we offer approximately a 7 - 8 month season which will finish at the end of September or October each season. There is the possibility at the end of each season for full time work. We are a growing company and we are increasing the staffing levels year on year.

We are offering up to £200.00 per week for seasonal staff. Food and accommodation is taken from this each week. Accommodation is in a flat which is separate to the centre. Staff will not share accommodation.

If you think you fit the bill and are keen to have a productive and fun time
please call us for a information pack and send you C.V. to:
